ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,177,506 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 24 January 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,177,506 Covid-19 cases, this includes 312,148 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,286,378 people (144,220 deaths)
- Philippines: 3,417,216 people (53,472 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,832,945 people (31,892 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,384,639 people (22,048 deaths)
- Vietnam: 2,141,422 people (36,719 deaths)
- Myanmar: 534,071 people (19,310 deaths)
- Singapore: 313,772 people (848 deaths)
- Laos: 129,953 people (526 deaths)
- Cambodia: 121,026 people (3,015 deaths)
- Brunei: 16,084 people (98 deaths)
